This is a new blog created by the minds of Adrian Giannotta.
Here we will talk of things that we like and things we do not like, as well as things we really like and things we really don't like. So dont expect this to not be anything less than epic.
I wanted to take a minute and explain "the name behind the blog." Laurie Anderson is a prolific and influential artist/musician whose career really started to take off in the early 1970's when she began performing in New York City. "Duets on Ice", was a show she conducted in New York had her playing violin along with a recording while wearing ice skates with the blades frozen into a block of ice, and the performance would only end when the ice melted away. Her first major single was "O Superman," which surprisingly enough reached the #2 position on the UK Charts.
Also, Laurie is an inventor, as in 1977 she made a "tape-bow violin." It used recorded magnetic tape on the bow and a magnetic tape head in the bridge. She also has created a "talking stick," which is a batonlike MIDI controller that can access and replicate different sounds. Oh did I mention she is married to Lou Reed. So to avoid rambling about Laurie Anderson being the coolest person ever, I'm just going to post a link to the wikipedia about the song that I really like "O Superman."

Anyway, John Peel (the man responsible for me discovering most of the music I love today) included the song on his compilation Right Time, Wrong Speed: 1977-1987. So there ya have it, "Right Time, Wrong Speed" is a new blog for you to read or not.
